After faith, the second most important pillar of Islam is prayer. Great promises have been made to establish the prayer and strict promises have been made to cancel the prayer. The virtues of prayer and its importance have been described in great detail and abundance in the Holy Quran and hadiths. Our beloved Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to organize five obligatory prayers, Tahjud, Ishraq and Chasht prayers. And then on every difficult and special occasion, he used prayer as a means of repentance and forgiveness before his Lord. If our beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was suffering from hunger or any other problem or pain, he used to visit the mosque.
If there was a solar eclipse or a lunar eclipse, he (peace be upon him) used to visit the mosque. If there was a storm, storm, earthquake, even any kind of natural calamity, then he would visit the mosque and engage in prayer. When our beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would return from a journey, he would first visit the mosque and offer prayers. Therefore, we should all make special arrangements for prayer. In the following section, some noble verses and prophetic hadiths are given regarding the virtues of prayer, its importance, and its benefits:
Virtues of prayer in the light of the Holy Quran:
O believers! Seek help through patience and prayer, surely Allah is with those who persevere.
(Surah al-Baqarah 153)
Read the book that has been revealed to you and establish prayer, surely prayer prevents indecency and evil.
(Surah Al-Ankabut 45)
Allah Ta'ala said that I am with you if you keep praying and giving Zakat.
(Surah al-Maida 12)
And if any trouble or trouble comes, seek help from Allah through prayer and patience, this is difficult but not difficult for those who fear Allah.
(Surah al-Baqarah 45)
Indeed, those who believe have success who humble themselves in their prayers. And those who are aware of their prayers, these are the inheritors who will inherit Paradise (Paradise) where they will remain forever.
(Surah Al-Mu'minun 1-11)
The fact is that humans have been created with very little motivation. When he suffers, he shows great panic, and when prosperity comes to him, he becomes very stingy. But those prayers are not like that. Those who always observe their prayers. And those who guard their prayers completely. These people will be honored in Paradise.

The importance of prayer in the light of hadiths
On the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "If a stream flows in front of your house, and one of you bathes in it five times a day, will there be any dirt on his body?" Will the rest be left? The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: No! There will be no mail on his body. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This is an example of five prayers, Allah removes sins through them."

On the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of Allah said: On the Day of Resurrection, the obligatory prayer will be counted first among the deeds of a person. If the prayer is correct, he will be successful and successful, and if the prayer is not correct, he will be unsuccessful and at a loss.
(Sunan al-Tirmidhi: 413, Sunan al-Nasa'i: 465, Sunan Ibn Majah: 1425)
Hazrat Mu'adh bin Jabal (RA) says: I was with the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on a journey. One day I was near him, we were all walking. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Please tell me a deed by which I can enter Paradise and stay away from Hell. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You have asked a great thing." But for whom Allah makes it easy, it is easy for him. Worship Allah and do not associate anyone with Him, establish prayer, give Zakat, fast in Ramadan and perform Hajj to the House of Allah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Should I not tell you the origin of this matter, its pillar and its greatness?" I said sure. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The essence of the matter is Islam, its pillar is prayer and its greatness is Jihad in the way of Allah.

On the authority of Hazrat Abu Huraira, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: There are seven types of people whom Allah will grant a place under His (Mercy) shade on a Day when there will be no shade except his shade. . One of those seven people is the person whose heart is attached to the mosque (i.e. he prays on time).

On the authority of Hazrat Anas, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays with Takbeer Awla for forty days continuously, Allah Almighty has written two freedoms for him, one is freedom from hell and the other is hypocrisy. Freedom from''.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that on the Night of Ascension fifty prayers were made obligatory on the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then they decreased to five. In the end it was announced (by Allah Ta'ala).
O Muhammad! The matter does not change with me, so instead of five prayers, only fifty will be rewarded.

Hazrat Rabi'ah bin Ka'b Aslami (RA) says that I used to spend the night with the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him), one night I offered water for ablution and necessary things for him. You said if you want to ask something then do it. I said: I want to be with you in heaven. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Something else besides that. I said: That's it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Help me by prostrating as much as possible to fulfill this desire of yours." (That is, this desire will be fulfilled by arranging prayers).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin As that one day the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned the prayer and said: Whoever arranges the prayer, the prayer will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection. (being honest) will be a proof and a means of avoiding punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And for the one who does not perform Salat, there will be no light on the Day of Resurrection, nor will there be any evidence for him (being completely faithful), nor will there be any means of avoiding punishment. And he will be with Pharaoh, Qarun, Haman and Abi bin Khalaf on the Day of Resurrection.

On the authority of Hazrat Abu Malik Ash'ari, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Prayer is light, charity is proof, patience is light, and the Qur'an is proof in your favor or proof against you (i.e. if you recite it and If you follow it, it will be the means of your salvation, otherwise it will be the means of your capture).

Hazrat Abdullah Bin Masoud Radiyallahu Anhu says that I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) which deed is more beloved to Allah? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: To perform the prayer at its time. I said, "After that, which action is more pleasing to Allah?" So he (peace be upon him) said: Obedience to parents. I said, "After that, which action is more beloved to Allah?" So he said: Obedience to parents. I said, "After that, which action is more beloved to Allah?" So he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Jihad in the way of Allah.
(Sahih Bukhari: 2782, Sahih Muslim: 85)
Hazrat Awf bin Malik Ashjajai (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do you not pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah? He said to him three times, then we raised our hands to pledge allegiance and pledged allegiance. We said: O Messenger of Allah! What did we pledge allegiance to? So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Worship only Allah, do not associate anyone with Him, and observe the prayers. Then he said in a low voice: Do not ask people anything.

On the authority of Hazrat Ubada bin Samit, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Allah has made five prayers obligatory on His servants, who perform these prayers (on the Day of Resurrection) in such a way that there is no negligence in them. If there is no omission, then Allah will make a covenant with this servant on the Day of Judgment and enter him into Paradise, and those who offer these prayers in such a way that they have neglected them carelessly, then Allah does not want any covenant with him, punish him. , please forgive me.

جزاک الله خَيْرًا كَثِيْرًا
نماز
ایمان کے بعد اسلام کا دوسرا اہم ترین ستون نماز ہے۔ نماز قائم کرنے کے بڑے بڑے وعدے کیے گئے ہیں اور نماز کو منسوخ کرنے کے سخت وعیدیں کیے گئے ہیں۔ نماز کی فضیلت اور اس کی اہمیت کو قرآن کریم اور احادیث میں بڑی تفصیل اور کثرت سے بیان کیا گیا ہے۔ ہمارے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پانچ فرض نمازوں تہجد، اشراق اور چاشت کی نماز کا اہتمام فرماتے تھے۔ اور پھر ہر مشکل اور خاص موقع پر دعا کو اپنے رب کے حضور توبہ و استغفار کا ذریعہ بنایا۔ ہمارے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فاکہ یا کوئی اور پریشانی یا تکلیف ہوتی تو مسجد میں تشریف لے جاتے۔
سورج گرہن یا چاند گرہن کے وقت
سورج گرہن یا چاند گرہن ہوتا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد میں تشریف لے جاتے تھے۔ طوفان، آندھی، زلزلہ، حتیٰ کہ کسی قسم کی قدرتی آفت آتی تو مسجد میں تشریف لے جاتے اور نماز میں مشغول ہوجاتے۔ ہمارے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب سفر سے واپس آتے تو سب سے پہلے مسجد میں تشریف لے جاتے اور نماز پڑھتے۔ اس لیے ہم سب کو نماز کے لیے خصوصی اہتمام کرنا چاہیے۔
درج ذیل حصے میں نماز کی فضیلت، اس کی اہمیت اور اس کے فوائد کے بارے میں چند آیات کریم اور احادیث مبارکہ پیش کی جاتی ہیں:
نماز كے فضائل قرآن مجید كى روشنى ميں:
اے ایمان والو! صبر اور نماز کے ذریعہ مدد چاہو، بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ صبر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہے۔ (سورۂ البقرۃ ۱۵۳)
جو کتاب آپ پر وحی کی گئی ہے اسے پڑھئے اور نماز قائم کیجئے، یقیناً نماز بے حیائی اور برائی سے روکتی ہے۔
(سورۂ العنکبوت ۴۵)
اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمادیا کہ میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں اگر تم نماز قائم رکھوگے اور زکاۃ دیتے رہوگے۔
(سورۂ المائدہ ۱۲)
اور اگر کوئی پریشانی یا مصیبت آئے تو نمازوں کی ادائیگی اور صبر کے ذریعہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے مدد مانگیں، یہ چیز شاق وبھاری ہے مگر اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرنے والوں کے لئے مشکل نہیں۔
(سورۂ البقرہ ۴۵)
یقیناًان ایمان والوں نے فلاح (کامیابی) پائی جو اپنی نماز میں خشوع کرتے ہیں۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ اور جو اپنی نمازوں کی خبر رکھتے ہیں، یہی وہ وارث ہیں جو (جنت) الفردوس کے وارث ہوں گے جہاں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔
(سورۂ المؤمنون ۱ ۔ ۱۱)
حقیقت یہ ہے کہ انسان بہت کم حوصلہ پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔ جب اسے تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو خوب گھبراہٹ ظاہر کرتا ہے، اور جب اس کے پاس خوشحالی آتی ہے تو بہت بخیل بن جاتا ہے۔ مگر وہ نمازی ایسے نہیں ہیں۔ جو اپنی نماز کی ہمیشہ پابندی کرتے ہیں۔ اور جو اپنی نماز کی پوری پوری حفاظت کرنے والے ہیں۔ یہی لوگ جنتوں میں عزت والے ہوں گے۔

نماز كى اہميت احاديث كى روشنى ميں
حضرت ابو ہريرہ سے روايت ہے، رسول اللہ انے ارشاد فرمایا: قیامت کے دن آدمی کے اعمال میں سب سے پہلے فرض نماز کا حساب لیا جائیگا۔ اگر نماز درست ہوئی تو وہ کامیاب وکامران ہوگا، اور اگر نماز درست نہ ہوئی تو وہ ناکام اور خسارہ میں ہوگا۔
(سنن ترمذى: 413، سنن نسائى: 465، سنن ابن ماجہ: 1425)
حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ا سے دریافت کیا کہ اللہ کو کونسا عمل زیادہ محبوب ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: نماز کو اس کے وقت پر ادا کرنا۔ میں نے کہا کہ اس کے بعد کونسا عمل اللہ کو زیادہ پسند ہے؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: والدین کی فرمانبرداری۔ میں نے کہا کہ اس کے بعد کونسا عمل اللہ کو زیادہ محبوب ہے؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا۔
(صحيح بخارى: 2782، صحيح مسلم: 85)
حضرت ابو ہريرہ سے روايت ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نے فرمایا: ’’اگر تمہارے گھر کے سامنے کوئی نہر بہتی ہو تو تم میں سے کوئی ہر روز پانچ بار اس میں غسل کرے تو کیا اس کے بدن پر کوئی میل کچیل باقی بچے گا‘‘؟ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے عرض کی: نہیں! اس کے بدن پر کوئی میل نہیں ہو گی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نے فرمایا: ’’یہی مثال پانچ نمازوں کی ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے ذریعے گناہوں کو مٹا دیتا ہے‘‘۔

حضرت انس سے روايت ہے ، رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نےارشاد فرمایا: ’’جو شخص مسلسل چالیس روز تک تکبیر اُولیٰ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھتا رہا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لئے دو آزادیاں لکھ دیتا ہے، ایک جہنم سے آزادی اور دوسری منافقت سے آزادی‘‘۔
(سنن ترمذى: 241، شعب الايمان: 2615)
حضرت ابو مالك اشعرى سے روايت ہے،رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: نماز نور ہے، صدقہ دلیل ہے، صبر کرنا روشنی ہے اور قرآن تمہارے حق میں دلیل ہے یا تمہارے خلاف دلیل ہے (یعنی اگر اسکی تلاوت کی اور اس پر عمل کیا تو یہ تمہاری نجات کا ذریعہ ہوگا ،ورنہ تمہاری پکڑ کا ذریعہ ہوگا)۔
(صحيح مسلم: 223، سنن نسائى: 2437، سنن ابن ماجہ: 280)
حضرت ابو ہريرہ سے روايت ہے، رسول اللہ صلى الله عليہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: سات قسم کے آدمی ہیں جن کو اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی (رحمت کے) سایہ میں ایسے دن جگہ عطا فرمائے گا جس دن اس کے سایہ کے سوا کوئی سایہ نہ ہوگا۔ اُن سات لوگوں میں سے ایک وہ شخص بھی ہے جس کا دل مسجد سے اٹکا ہوا ہو (یعنی وقت پر نماز ادا کرتا ہو) ۔

حضرت معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں ایک سفر میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھا۔ ایک دن میں آپ ا کے قریب تھا، ہم سب چل رہے تھے۔ میں نے کہا: اے اللہ کے پیغمبر! آپ مجھے ایسا عمل بتادیجئے جسکی بدولت میں جنت میں داخل ہوجاؤں اور جہنم سے دور ہوجاؤں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم نے بڑی بات پوچھی ہے۔ لیکن اللہ جس کے لئے آسان کردے اس کے لئے آسان ہے۔ اللہ کی عبادت کرو اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرو، نماز قائم کرو، زکاۃ دو، رمضان کے روزے رکھو اوراللہ کے گھر کا حج کرو۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں تمہیں اس معاملہ کی اصل، اس کا ستون اور اسکی عظمت نہ بتادوں؟ میں نے کہا ضرور۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: معاملہ کی اصل اسلام ہے، اس کا ستون نماز ہے اور اسکی عظمت اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد ہے۔

حضرت عوف بن مالک اشجعی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کے رسول سے بیعت نہیں کرتے؟ آپ ا نے تین مرتبہ اسکو کہا، تو ہم نے اپنے ہاتھ بیعت کے لئے بڑھادئے اوربیعت کی۔ ہم نے کہا: اے اللہ کے رسول! ہم نے کس چیز پر بیعت کی؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: صرف اللہ کی عبادت کرو، اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرو، اورنمازوں کی پابندی کرو۔ اس کے بعد آہستہ آواز میں کہا: لوگوں سے کسی چیز کا سوال نہ کرو۔

حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمرو بن عاص سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دن نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز کا ذکر فرماتے ہوئے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص نماز کا اہتمام کرتا ہے تو نماز اس کے لئے قیامت کے دن نور ہوگی، اس (کے پورے ایماندار ہونے) کی دلیل ہوگی اور قیامت کے دن عذاب سے بچنے کا ذریعہ ہوگی۔ اور جو شخص نماز کا اہتمام نہیں کرتا اس کے لئے قیامت کے دن نہ نور ہوگا، نہ اس (کے پورے ایماندار ہونے) کی کوئی دلیل ہوگی، نہ عذاب سے بچنے کا کوئی ذریعہ ہوگا۔ اور وہ قیامت کے دن فرعون، قارون، ہامان اور ابی بن خلف کے ساتھ ہوگا۔

حضرت عبادہ بن صامت سے روايت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے بندوں پر پانچ نمازیں فرض فرمائی ہیں، جو اِن نمازوں کو (قیامت کے دن) اس طرح لیکر آئے کہ ان میں لاپرواہی سے کسی قسم کی کوتاہی نہ کی ہو تو اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن اس بندے سے عہد کرکے اس کو جنت میں داخل فرمائیں گے اور جو اِن نمازوں کواس طرح لیکر آئے کہ ان میں لاپرواہیوں سے کوتاہیاں کی ہیں تو اللہ کا اس سے کوئی عہد نہیں چاہے اسکو عذاب دیں ، چاہے معاف فرمادیں.

حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ شبِ معراج میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر پچاس نمازیں فرض ہوئیں، پھر کم ہوتے ہوتے پانچ رہ گئیں۔ آخر میں (اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے) اعلان کیا گیا۔ اے محمد! میرے ہاں بات بدلی نہیں جاتی، لہذا پانچ نمازوں کے بدلے پچاس ہی کا ثواب ملے گا۔

حضرت ربیعہ بن کعب اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں حضور اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس (آپکی خدمت کیلئے) رات گزارتا تھا، ایک رات میں نے آپ کے لئے وضو کا پانی اور ضرورت کی چیزیں پیش کیں۔ آپ انے فرمایا کچھ سوال کرنا چاہتے ہو تو کرو ۔ میں نے کہا: میں چاہتا ہوں کہ جنت میں آپ کے ساتھ رہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس کے علاوہ کچھ اور۔ میں نے کہا: بس یہی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اپنی اس خواہش کی تکمیل کے لئے زیادہ سے زیادہ سجدے کرکے میری مدد کرو ۔
(یعنی نماز کے اہتمام سے یہ خواہش پوری ہوگی)

اللہ کے وہ بندے بڑے خوش نصیب ہیں جو اِس دنیا میں نمازوں کا اہتمام کرکے جنت میں تمام نبیوں کے سردار حضرت محمد مصطفی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی رفاقت پائیں گے۔

حضرت عمرو اپنے والد اور وہ اپنے دادا (حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہ) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اپنے بچوں کو سات سال کی عمر میں نماز کا حکم کرو۔ دس سال کی عمر میں نماز نہ پڑھنے پر انہیں مارو، اور اس عمر میں علیحدہ علیحدہ بستروں پر سلاؤ ۔

ہم سب کو چائیے كہ جب بچہ سات سال کا ہوجائے تو اسکی نماز کی پابندی کریں، دس سال کی عمر میں نماز نہ پڑھنے پر ڈانٹ ڈپٹ بھی کریں تاکہ جوان ہونے سےپہلے نماز کا پابند ہوجائے، اور جوان ہونے کے بعد اس کی ایک نماز بھی نہ چوکے ۔
حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے گورنروں کو یہ حکم جاری فرمایا کہ میرے نزدیک تمہارے امور میں سب سے زیادہ اہمیت نماز کی ہے۔ جس نے نمازوں کی پابندی کرکے اسکی حفاظت کی، اس نے پورے دین کی حفاظت کی اور جس نے نماز کو ضائع کیا وہ نماز کے علاوہ دین کے دیگر ارکان کو زیادہ ضائع کرنے والا ہوگا۔
