Mr. Usman Yousuf observes that in the novels you write, Imran invariably strikes fear into the hearts of the criminals; naturally, those who are already terrified stand little chance of putting up a real fight against him. He asks why you do not introduce fearless criminals who are a match for Imran’s intellect. Along with this, he has also submitted a plot outline for a novel in which a criminal assassinates the president of a friendly nation—Pak asia—and usurps his position, and so forth.
Mr. Usman Yousuf, You have truly put a great deal of effort into writing this letter, and I am grateful to you for it. Hard work is a commendable habit—one that should be maintained—because success in every sphere of life hinges upon it. As for the matter of Imran’s commanding presence and the fear he strikes in criminals, you have drawn a conclusion from a different perspective. Criminals do not become terrified upon learning of Imran’s capabilities; rather, they become more cautious and active.
After all, if one is already aware of an adversary's capabilities, one is not caught off guard. You would not have read in any novel that criminals, out of fear, fled without even attempting to complete their mission. As for the plot of your novel... I shall take my leave now.
Well, my friend, if it were truly possible for criminals to simply assassinate a country's president and install their own man in his place, then the entire world would be ruled by criminals by now. They wouldn't need to devise elaborate plans, go to such great lengths, or sacrifice their own people. By the way, please don't let the criminals in on this simple trick—or else...?

عثمان یوسف صاحب فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ جو بھی ناول لکھتے ہیں اس میں جو بھی مجرم ہوتے ہیں ان کو عمران خوفزدہ کر دیتے ہیں اور جو مجرم پہلے ہی خوفزدہ ہو جائیں وہ بیچارے عمران سے کیا مقابلہ کریں گے اس لئے آپ ایسے نڈر مجرم کیوں سامنے نہیں لاتے جو عمران کی فکر کے ہوں، اس کے ساتھ ساتھ انہوں نے ایک ناول کا پلاٹ بھی لکھ کر بھیجا ہے جس میں پاکیشیاء کے ایک دوست ملک کے صدر کو جرم قتل کر کے اس کی جگہ لے لیتے ہیں وغیرہ وغیرہ ۔

آپ نے واقعی خط لکھنے میں بے حد محنت کی ہے میں اس محنت کے لئے آپ کا مشکور ہوں محنت کرنا ایک اچھی عادت ہے اور اس عادت کو بر قرار رہنا چاہیے کیونکہ زندگی کے ہر میدان میں کامیابی کا دارو مدار محنت پر ہی ہوتا ہے باقی رہی بات عمران کے دبدبے اور رعب کی ہے اور مجرموں کے خوفزدہ ہونے کی، تو آپ نے نتیجہ ایک دوسرے زاویے سے نکالا ہے۔ مجرم عمران کی صلاحیتوں کا معلوم کر کے خوفزدہ نہیں ہوتے بلکہ وہ مزید محتاط اور فعال ہو جاتے ہیں۔ ویسے بھی اگر مخالف کی صلاحیتوں کا پہلے سے علم ہو جائے تو آدمی بے خبری میں نہیں مارا جاتا۔ آپ نے کسی ناول میں بھی نہ پڑھا ہوگاکہ مجرم خوفزدہ ہو کر میشن مکمل کرنے کی کوشش کے بغیر ہی بھاگ گئے ہوں ۔ باقی رہا آپ کے ناول کا پلاٹ ! تو محترم اگر عین مکن ہوتا کہ کسی ملک کے صدر کو قتل کر کے اس کی جگہ مجرم اپنے آدمی لے آئیں تو پھر اب تک پوری دنیا پر مجرموں کی ہی حکومت ہوتی۔ انہیں لمبے چوڑے پلان بنانے ، بیحد بھاگ دوڑ کرنے۔ اور اپنے آدمی مروانے کی ضرورت ہی نہ رہتی ۔ ویسے پلیز آپ یہ آسان سا نسخہ مجرموں تک نہ پہنچا دیجئے گا ورنہ؟۔
